Auckland's humidity, sea air and warm summers create ideal conditions for mould, algae and lichen to build up on exterior walls, eaves and fascia. We use a soft wash method throughout — low-pressure application with the right cleaning solution. Safe for all cladding types including weatherboard, linea, brick, plaster and Hardie. No high-pressure blasting that strips paint or forces water behind cladding.
What We Actually Do
Soft wash isn't just lower pressure — it's a different method. We apply a biodegradable cleaning solution to all exterior surfaces, leave it to dwell and break down the biological growth at the root, then rinse at low pressure. The result is a clean that lasts significantly longer than a straight water blast, because we're treating the cause of the build-up rather than just the visible surface. For painted weatherboard, linea, fibre cement and Hardie, this is the only approach that won't strip paint or force water into joints.
We cover all accessible exterior surfaces in a single visit — walls, eaves, soffits, fascia, window frames, exterior doors, downpipes and gutter exteriors. We don't charge extra per section or itemise the house. One price, all exterior surfaces, done properly.
Which Tier Is Right for You?
Standard Wash covers all exterior walls, eaves and soffits, fascia boards, window frames and sills, exterior doors, downpipes exterior wash, and gutter exterior wash. Removes mould, algae, dirt and oxidation from all exterior surfaces. Right choice for homes maintained every 1–2 years.
Premium Wash includes everything in Standard, plus a professional mould and algae inhibitor spray applied to all surfaces after washing. The inhibitor keeps working after we've left — significantly slowing the return of mould and algae. Right for homes not washed in 2+ years, shaded or south-facing properties, and anywhere with heavy mould growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take?
A single-storey 3-bedroom home takes around 1.5–2 hours. Two-storey homes take 2.5–3 hours. Premium washes take slightly longer due to the inhibitor step.
Do I need to be home?
No — if we have access to all sides of the property. Leave gate codes or access notes when booking and we'll take care of the rest.
Is soft wash safe for my paint?
Yes. Soft wash uses low pressure and a biodegradable solution to lift mould and grime without damaging paintwork, sealants or joinery. We don't use high pressure on exterior walls.
Will the mould come back?
Eventually yes — mould spores are always in the Auckland air. Standard removes existing growth. Premium with inhibitor typically extends the time before the next clean by 6–12 months.
