How do I prepare for a flea treatment?
Vacuum carpets thoroughly the morning of the treatment (this stimulates pupae to hatch, exposing them to the treatment), wash pet bedding on hot, and clear floors of toys and clothing. Empty the vacuum outside into a sealed bag.
Will one treatment be enough?
For most infestations, yes — the residual action keeps killing newly hatched fleas for weeks. Severe or long-established infestations sometimes need a follow-up visit 2–3 weeks later; we’ll tell you upfront if yours looks like that case.
Why am I still seeing a few fleas a week after treatment?
That’s normal and actually a sign it’s working. Pupae are protected inside their cocoons until they hatch — when they do, the residual treatment kills them. Expect stragglers for up to two weeks, reducing daily.
I don’t have pets — why do I have fleas?
